Artist Reflection: Depth Of Field

1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why?
My best shot is the leaf picture, I think that it represents depth of field really well.

2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment? Why?
The weakest shot of the assignment is this one. It doesn't look that aesthetically pleasing.

3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?
I just needed a better shot.

4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both? What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?
I used Photoshop to edit. I adjusted the curves, vibrancy, shadows and highlight of the picture.

5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment?
I edited all my photos before I chose one to upload.

6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?
The easiest par was choosing images that portrayed high depth of field, taking the photos was and editing them was really fun.

7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?
The most difficult part of the project was finding images that portrayed low depth of field.

8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?
If I had more time, I would take a sunset back-lighting shot.

9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project? Why would you give yourself that rating?
I would give myself a 10, because i have seen a huge improvement from my first project.

10. Peer Feedback:
  1. "The low Depth Photos are amazing shots, but the high depth didn't really have a subject or main focus." Jean's Page
